Mohsen Rezayat

Mohsen is the Chief Solutions Architect at Siemens Digital Industries Software (SDIS) and an Adjunct Full Professor at the University of Cincinnati. He started his post-secondary studies in Mechanical Engineering at University of California (Irvine) and completed it with a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Kentucky, USA. As a director of research at SDIS, he has extensively investigated the modeling of advanced manufacturing processes (including Additive Manufacturing), virtual and augmented reality industrial solutions, enterprise application integration, Semantic technologies, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and Quantum Computing. 

Mohsen has over 36 years of industrial experience at Siemens, with over 80 technical publications and a large number of patents. He is an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) evaluator, and has served as the guest editor for the Computer-Aided Design Journal. He is the founder and member of the Board of Directors (BOD) of poverty-alleviation non-profit OMID organization, and is the Chairman of the BOD at Solergy. He is also a member of the scientific advisory boards for AUD, Drexel University, and University of Cincinnati. His current research interests include artificial intelligence by machine learning, impact of wearable augmented-reality devices on productivity, solutions for sustainable growth in developing countries, and global green engineering.
