Martin Witte

Martin is the Senior Principal Key Expert for Engineering and Digital Twins focusing on the future of automation and its engineering at Siemens Digital Industries Software, Factory Automation division.  He started his career at Siemens in 1991 in Munich as a simulation expert with the Corporate Technology group. Since then he has contributed to the evolution of technology as a Software Architect with the former Business Unit for SMD Placement Machines (Siplace), as well as a Principal Expert/ Senior Principal Expert in the areas of engineering, simulation and Digital Twins.

Martin studied Mathematics and Economy at University of Ulm in Germany and Mathematics at Syracuse University in the US. He graduated in 1985 from Syracuse (M.Sc.) and continued his education with Dipl. Wirt-Math and Dr. rer nat from Ulm in 1987 and 1991 respectively.
